Your Berlin Itinerary
Another home away from home. Thanks to some dear friends abroad... Berlin is the place I have travelled to alone the most, both Winter and Summer. A place that always calls me back, to go inward and reconnect, to reignite my creativity.
First things first, go to a photo automat and take a picture to mark your arrival, and one on departure. On random streets you'll find little photo automats. Snap away, wait 5-10 minutes and the machine will pop out a strip of warm and slightly sticky, high contrast black and white photos.
Here is a list of some of my favourite activities, with the help of my dear friend, Adam Munnings.
To make this easy for you I've just listed categories, There is a description below. Make sure you do your own research to see if its for you!

Outdoor Activities
Tempelhoffer feld. I cant speak more highly of this place, an old military airport - 355 hectares , making it the largest inner city open space in the world. Abandoned and turned into a park/community garden.. You can bike ride, wind surf on a skate board, rollerblade, picnic, exercise, people watch, wander through the community garden and nibble on herbs... or just sit and enjoy the BEST sunset in Berlin.
Mauerpark - Markets and Karaoke on a Sunday
Hellsee- it's beautiful natural forest, trees with exceptional barks, fallen trees and the lake is nice, too! it's empty during the week
Spa!
Vabali (Huge outdoor/indoor complex of saunas / spas/ cold plunge pools/water beds if you need a nap. It’s cheap and at scheduled times they bring salt scrubs into the saunas for everyone.... No clothing allowed. It’s awesome)
Vintage Shopping
soba.32 - neoukolln (Archival)
Pick n Weight (bergmannstrasse 102)
Humana (Frankfurter Tor 3, Karl-Marx-Straße 13)
Sing Black Bird Vintage
Bars, Drinks, Day Parties!
Heideglühen- twice a month Saturday - day party, going from 11am - midday the next day. It’s an absolute MUST if it’s on, I suggest going in at 11am to get your stamp and coming back later at like 5 or so. Otherwise the line will be about 3 hours long
Tier (fancy cocktails)
Paolo Pinkel (good vibes)
JaJa (natural wine)
Klunkerkranich (rooftop, you enter through a strange mall car park)
